If there is one demographic that are known for consuming instant coffee, its’ students. Jacobs Instant Coffee is a coffee brand targeted towards this young demographic. This demographic like witty and tongue in cheek marketing and are fast to catch on to trends.
The design is meant to reference famous movie quotes, with a play on words for different blends of coffee. I chose a typographic design to make the packaging stand out from the standard brown design of our competitors. A hand drawn contemporary typeface is also highly appropriate to the intended audience.
