Author and musician Aslak Brimi has written a children's story about two girls from two different worlds becoming friends. Aslak liked my previous work on a project for Gullbarna, and asked me to do similar artwork for his new story.
Through close cooperation with Aslak, his characters and world came to life through my paintings. The characters and compositions were first sketched out by hand, then painted in watercolours, and finally touched up with digital tools.
The finished project was one event-poster and 20 illustrations for the book.
