The client wanted an online store built in Shopify, but with a design that reflected her artistic aesthetic. At the same time, she wanted to establish a brand identity with a logo, colour palette, and typography. She has a colour palette that she uses in her artwork, that she wanted to incorporate into the website design.

The logo is one of her own illustrations, representing Vigdis’s unique visual perspective that blends urbanity with nostalgia. The typography was inspired by a stamp motif, which is a recurring theme in her artwork.

Vigdis has a strong affinity for color blocking, often using bold shades such as pink, green, and orange in both her art and personal style. This was integrated into the layout of the “About Vigdis” page, as well as the homepage, where her artistic style and techniques are presented.
