Fugleadvokatene

Fugleadvokatene, based in Oslo, rescues and rehabilitates injured or abandoned birds. The organisation educates the public about avian welfare through a team of dedicated volunteers and specialists. They promote bird conservation and emphasise the ecological importance of avian species, reflecting their vital role in the urban environment.

Fugleadvokatene hired me to produce bird illustrations that could be sold at the Vegetarian Festival’s Christmas market. The revenue from these sales would help fund their expenses in rescuing and rehabitation birds.

SOLUTION:

After consultation, we agreed that I would create 5 colourful illustrations of the birds: guillemot, magpie, crow, city pigeon, and seagull. I picked these as they are the more common birds that fugleadvokatene rehabilitate. The illustrations were drawn with Posca markers and then post-processed in Photoshop and finally printed on 300 GSM matte paper.
