Angler

The client wanted branding for a new sport fishing store and online shop, where it was important to emphasise that they focused on line fishing. The store should be delicate, inviting, welcoming, moderately rustic, and cosy. A place you’d want to visit to spend time, get inspired by impressions and stories.

SOLUTION:

I chose to go for a vintage emblem featuring a jumping cod, which gave the design an urban touch while also conveying movement. The fishing rods behind the emblem represent the two main types of reels used in sport fishing – the fly reel and the spinning reel.

I designed the logo in two versions - one with the emblem and one as a wordmark logo.
