Battle Plans EP
I made this EP a few months ago, just haven't gotten around to putting up a post about it until now. But here it finally is, in all it's glory!

Warning Birds is, as they always have been, a great source of inspiration. Their music is haunting and beautiful, but also quite poppy and even up beat at times. Me and Sam Carmody came up with the concept for this design, and it's actually based on some old artwork that I did for them when we just started to work together back in 2010 but that didn't get used. The imagery is slightly surreal, and hints of a battle haven taken place. The contrast between the sky and stormy ocean reflects the duality of the bands sound. You can buy one at Fat Shan Records in Perth CBD for only $10 bucks! Now go buy one and support your local musicians :)

Multi-Living by Design
A concept for a property development company that builds modern apartment complexes targeted at young professionals.
A concept for a property development company that builds modern apartment complexes targeted at young professionals. Their mission is to ensure that all projects are unique, creative, with vibrant and growing communities.
My concept is derived from the community aspect of the building complexes.
com·mu·ni·ty
/kəˈmyo͞onitē/
Noun
A group of people living together in one place, esp. one practicing common ownership
The chosen typefaces and colours reflect the contemporary taste of the young professionals, and the layered gradients reflect the variety of what the company offers.
This concept was however rejected as my approach wasn't quite corporate enough. It's a bit unfortunate because I really felt this was a strong one.
But as they say; you win some, you lose some.

Fremantle Markets
I've been doing some work for the Fremantle Markets recently.
I've been doing some work for the Fremantle Markets recently. They have hired me on to create signage for 20 or so booths at the market. This has been a different kind of project for me, as I am only to spend 40 minutes on each design. Quite a challenge, actually! But I have really enjoyed it, cause it's fun push myself and see that I am able to come up with on such a tight schedule.
Below are some of the signs I've created so far.
